Introducing the Official Trailer for Yekini: Animated Series. Yekini Animated Mini Series is a spin-off from the original project Gbenga began over 7 years ago, called FELELE! The Yekini story revolves around a gifted 17-year-old boy with a deep desire to play football at the highest level of professional competition, the EKO league. However, his mother wants him to focus on his studies and become a lawyer, so he can claim his late father's inheritance from his relatives. Yekini faces many challenges as he strives to become one of the best football players in Eko City's Eko League.

“Our goal for Yekini is to create an 8 episode series of Youtube. I believe in Africa we have so many stories untold, and animation is a platform where we can tell many of these stories. When it comes to football in Nigeria and Africa, we are all familiar with that grass to grace story; there are so many things behind it, our aim was to show some of these in the Yekini project”
