Finding Jomijo is a heartwarming 3-minute animated short film brought to life by the creative talents of Kike Johnson (@kiks_johnson), Seyi Fajimi (@jimologic), Barbara Chukwu (@barhbie_), Omotola Opeyemi (@omotee_art), Daniel Alaka (@sameasdan) and Olamide Famojuro (@olamidefamojuro). This teaser gives you a glimpse into the adventures of Jomijo and his friends as they navigate their world with curiosity and imagination.

A Sunday Mutuku Story

Eaxum is an animation studio dedicated to telling African stories in pure and beautiful form. The featured project, "F’áyà wó Pursuit," is a gripping animated short film that captures the daring world of F’áyà wó drivers—those who smuggle food items into Nigeria through the western borders. These drivers modify their vehicles for high-speed chases to evade customs, risking their lives for a living.

The film vividly portrays the thrilling, dangerous chase scenes that have become a part of the rural Nigerian experience, where customs officers engage in cat-and-mouse games with the F’áyà wó smugglers.

F’áyà wó Pursuit

3d Artist and Motion Designer, Tolulope Olusesan loves coming up with abstract and surreal artworks that capture religious interpretations and mythical tales. Olusesan writes about his recent project titled ‘The Echoes of the Orisha’, “this is a series that explores and reinterprets the Yoruba myths using art and movies. It includes a set of art pieces and a movie series that show the Yoruba gods in a new way, while also telling a story about reconnecting with our cultural background and traditions. Right now, there are two art pieces in the series, and an animated short film is being made that will be released soon.”

Introducing the Official Trailer for Yekini: Animated Series. Yekini Animated Mini Series is a spin-off from the original project Gbenga began over 7 years ago, called FELELE! The Yekini story revolves around a gifted 17-year-old boy with a deep desire to play football at the highest level of professional competition, the EKO league. However, his mother wants him to focus on his studies and become a lawyer, so he can claim his late father's inheritance from his relatives. Yekini faces many challenges as he strives to become one of the best football players in Eko City's Eko League.
