Uzoma Ndulue writes “Most game chairs that exist today are imbedded with the digital gaming experience, and typically come in a single seating form. The SAYÒ chair centers an analog board game, imbedding movement with the seesaw effect and changing LED lights, thus depicting the emotion of nature, life, and play. SAYÒ taps into the inner childhood by encouraging human physical interaction, play, and colors. SAYÒ means “Joy Arrives” or “A good time” in the Yoruba language and is a merger of the word ‘Seesaw’ and ‘Ayò’. I designed The SAYÒ chair in an attempt to answer the question of how might we encourage interpersonal communication and connection, while boosting the human state of mind in the art of play.”
