Wellsprings is a serene, thoughtfully designed residential estate set in the lively city of Ibadan. Tasked with creating a visual identity that reflects its promise of calm, abundance, and well-being, Seyi Olusanya drew on his background in Architecture (BSc) and Environmental Design (MEd) from the University of Lagos to craft a brand system that mirrors the estate’s core philosophy.

In his role as Executive Art Director, Seyi worked closely with the Creative Director to translate strategy into a flexible, visually engaging design language. He guided his team toward a unified vision—one that captures the tranquility Wellsprings promises to its residents. At the heart of this identity is the idea of an “origin” or “source,” evoking the concept of a wellspring as an abundant source of something good. Here, that source is a better way of living.

“This concept is most evident in the logomark: a house-like shape whose base rises up from the center, forming a subtle “W” for Wellsprings. From this mark, concentric lines ripple outward, much like the circles created by a pebble tossed into a pond. These ripples appear throughout the brand, symbolizing the calm yet expansive effect Wellsprings has on its inhabitants—and by extension, the broader community.” Seyi goes on to explain.

By blending architectural principles, environmental awareness, and an eye for cohesive design systems, Seyi has brought Wellsprings to life in a way that feels both practical and poetic.
