In the bustling streets of Lagos, few things are as ubiquitous as the sachet water—affectionately known as “Pure Water.” For most, it is a basic necessity. Through his latest project, @yougetpurewater, Seyi is elevating this everyday object into a high-art design curation.

The project operates with a simple but disciplined cadence: one cold sachet, every Friday. This series is more than just a collection of graphics; it’s an exploration of the visual language that defines Nigerian consumer culture. By focusing on the humble water sachet, Seyi —the same creative mind behind Afrotype and the celebrated Danfo Typeface—continues his mission of documenting, preserving, and reimagining Nigerian visual history and zeitgeist through design.
