Olumaiye Aladeniji, widely known in the creative industry as Olumaiye PMM or "Zeus," is a powerhouse Creative Director, 3D Artist, and Visual Storyteller currently based in Canada. With a unique academic foundation in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, and specialized creative training from the Miami Ad School, he has built a career defined by the intersection of structural precision and emotive digital art. Over a decade of professional practice, he has held senior leadership roles at Nigeria’s most prestigious agencies, including Noah’s Ark Communications, Leo Burnett Lagos, and Webcoupers, where his vision helped secure top honors at the Loeries, African Cristal, and Epica Awards.

In the celebrated "Freedom in Wax" campaign, created to mark Nigeria’s 61st Independence Day in 2021, Olumaiye served as the Lead 3D Artist and Visual Compositor. This project was a masterclass in 3D artistry, where he utilized technical tools like Maxon ZBrush, and Autodesk Maya to create hyper-realistic digital renders of melting candles. His specific contribution was the metaphorical translation of a common Nigerian household practice: lighting a new candle from the melting wax of a dying one to ensure the light never goes out. This visual served as a powerful allegory for the "hero's work" being continued by the next generation, ensuring that the sacrifices of founding fathers were not in vain.
While Olumaiye’s technical execution brought the vision to life, the project was a testament to the collaborative power of the team at Noah’s Ark Communications. Under the creative leadership of Lanre Adisa, and with strategic contributions from Gabby Olonisakin and the wider agency team, the campaign successfully reframed a cultural nuance into a high-impact piece of Public Interest advertising. This collective effort not only resonated deeply with the Nigerian public but also solidified the agency's reputation on the global stage, earning accolades for its "bold and intentional" storytelling. The project remains a definitive example of how a unified creative team can turn a simple household experience into a profound statement on national identity and continuity.
