As part of the project, he was responsible for designing and illustrating multiple scenes used throughout the documentary. These visuals were developed to support the storytelling, particularly in segments that required visual reconstruction or emphasis. The project included the creation of timeline illustrations and visual sequences that mapped historical events. These elements were designed to provide clarity and continuity within the film’s narrative structure.

The illustrated scenes produced by Emmanuel Nwachukwu were later animated as part of the film’s visual presentation. The animation was handled by Charles Afoakwah, who also served as the art director on the project. The production process involved collaboration across roles, including animation direction and supervision. Akosua-Asamoabea Ampofo contributed to the project as the animation supervisor, overseeing the motion aspects of the illustrated sequences.
