Drawing on over five years of experience in branding, illustration, and visual storytelling, Ellis brings Nigerian pop culture to life with a unique blend of music, nostalgia, and urban flair.

Ellis channels his heritage and personal experiences into bold, memorable designs. His past work includes collaborations with OMO Studios (where he currently serves as a Senior Graphic Designer) and Jonzing World Record Label, as well as personal experiments that fuse music and art—like his character design inspired by Rema’s “HEIS” album. He also has a strong footing in customer service and hospitality, sharpening his ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

In these Lagos City GTA Style Posters, Ellis uses the iconic GTA aesthetic to celebrate Mavin Records’ artists and the cultural buzz of Lagos. The result is a fresh, playful homage that resonates with music lovers and design enthusiasts alike. Ellis brilliantly replicates the low resolution graphics and clunky renders characteristic to the Playstation 2 which goes on to reflect Ellis’s core belief that design should spark an emotional connection and leave a lasting impact.

Ellis is currently completing his Diploma in Computer Systems Technology at Canadian Imperial College, further enhancing his tech-driven approach to design.
