Davida Enara is a Nigerian artist living in New York. She creates digital art called "Neo-African" that mixes history and memories, focusing on Nigerian culture. Her project, The Giants are Coming, combines the style of Japanese Ukiyo-e prints with warm colors inspired by Nigeria to tell stories from the past.

She started making art again during the 2020 pandemic after working in education policy. She frequently uses her art to share Nigerian history and connect young people with their roots. Her work shows peaceful and respectful images of Nigerian people, capturing the spirit of different times.

Enara wants to fight against how local history is often left out of school lessons. She pairs her pictures with writing to help people learn better and feel connected. Even though she works from New York, she links the Nigerian community abroad with their history back home.
Her art helps keep Nigerian culture alive and honors important figures from history. The Giants are Coming is a continuing project where she keeps sharing and updating these stories through her art.
