The poster work by Coker Oluwafemi, a creative technologist and the founder of Lagos Meet, is a programmatic exploration of human versatility through the lens of kinetic typography. Inspired by a quote from Robert Heinlein’s 1973 science fiction novel, Time Enough for Love, the project serves as a visual counter-argument to the idea of hyper-specialization. By translating the philosophy that "specialization is for insects" into a motion-driven composition, Oluwafemi tries to drive the message home.

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.” ― Robert A. Heinlein.

Technically, the project leverages the procedural animation capabilities of @cavalry.app to map the movement of individual ant illustrations across a structured text path. The "hidden beauty" of the work is found in the irony of its execution: @cokeroluwafemi uses Ants—one of nature's most rigid specialists—to form the very words that advocate for human generalism. The ants group themselves in an orderly yet imperfect manner, creating a visual rhythm that suggests how collective focus can give shape to a complex, multi-layered identity. The backdrop and fluid motion reflect a high-fidelity approach to creative coding, where the toolset is used to prove that humans can master any system they choose to engage with.
