Adulphina Imuede has unveiled a series of striking illustrations that pay tribute to leading fashion houses known for putting women front and center. Using images of their iconic products as her starting point, she transforms them through her unique artistic lens and characteristic style.

“In celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s Month, I created a fashion illustration in my visual language, inspired by some of my favorite women-owned brands. Young women who are shaping the fashion industry on their own terms. Here’s to more women supporting women and breaking boundaries,” she explains.

Through her work, Adulphina not only pays homage to female-forward fashion brands like Bawsty, Cladini Studio, and Knanfe Fashion, which have long championed female empowerment, but she also offers a new way of experiencing fashion. Her illustrations invite viewers to see familiar products reimagined in a style that is both fresh and deeply personal.

Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Adulphina Imuede is a creative whose art is stylised, surreal, and sometimes experimental. She describes her work as a reflection of her thoughts and her identity, capturing a very feminine essence that resonates with every woman, regardless of age or skin tone. Her art is imbued with a belief in everyday miracles and a touch of romance, which allows each piece to tell a story that is both intimate and universal.

Adulphina’s paintings have been exhibited across the globe, with past shows including the ART x Lagos 6th Edition fair; “Locality and The Status Quo” at Wunika Mukan Gallery in Lagos; “The Human Experience” by The Project Space at Gallery Fanon in Johannesburg; and “I Love Who You Are, I Love Who You Ain’t” at Bill Brady Gallery in Miami. Her work is a celebration of femininity, creativity, and the transformative power of art in redefining the visual language of fashion.
